Topic A Description:  The transportation industry is currently experiencing negative financial impacts due to COVID-19.  This session will focus on the excellent financial outlook at the start of 2020 and the sudden shift in important revenue streams felt immediately by State and Local departments. What does a post-COVID-19 (PC19) world look like for Ohio and its communities? How is the state’s transportation vision impacted by COVID-19?  The engineering industry needs to hear from local, county, and state government leaders about their outlook for PC19.  State and federal funding agency representatives need to provide an update on future funding levels. This session will provide information vital to the planning, design, and construction of future projects. Attendees will hear firsthand from statewide leaders who are adapting and acting quickly to mitigate potential damage to our state’s transportation system and the jobs it supports – and helping pave the road to a brighter, more prosperous future.
